A three-hour, in-person writing event focused on ideas, momentum, and accountability.
The Current: Spring Ahead, a Ten Thousand Words writing event
Writing doesn’t happen in isolation—it happens in rhythm.
The Current is a three-hour, in-person writing gathering designed to help you generate strong ideas, identify what’s ready to be shared, and leave with a clear plan for what you’ll publish next.
This first session, Spring Ahead, meets on the eve of daylight savings—a natural moment to reset your energy and focus forward. Together, we’ll work with writing intended for publication or sharing in early summer, without getting lost in timelines or pressure.
Expect a mix of:
Guided ideation and reflection
Practical exercises to surface publishable material
Small-group conversation and collective insight
Time to articulate next steps and name real accountability
You’ll leave with:
Several viable content directions
A clearer sense of what wants to be written now
Named intentions for where and how your work may be shared
The momentum that comes from writing alongside others who take the work seriously
This is not a class. It’s not a critique circle. It’s a focused, generous container for writers who want to move their work forward—together.
